Namaste Montessori of Peters
School and Childcare Center
About Us
Namaste is an ancient Sanskrit word that simply defined means "the light within me honors the light within you."
Namaste Montessori is more than just a preschool: we are a child centered community of teachers and families that are committed to honoring the light in each child. Following an authentic Montessori curriculum, we nurture the mind, body, and spirit of each individual.
Namaste Montessori serves children between the ages of thirteen months and six years in our toddler and primary programs.
We at Namaste Montessori know young children possess a passion for learning. They literally absorb life around them. We are honored to have the chance to guide them as they learn. We can never be too kind, too respectful, and too wise to be their role models.
Montessori schools are often called “Children’s Houses” and for children these classrooms are as inviting, comfortable, and as enjoyable as their own home. It is not an adult environment adapted for children, it is an environment created just for them.
Our philosophy combines a passion and joy for learning with the values of hard work, self discipline, and integrity. Our program prepares children not just for success in school, but for success in life.
